What do experts have to say about it?

Why you should be concerned:

<---------------------------------

In this graph, found on UNICEF, it states that child labor is very common for countries that are very poor. Also, on the website, it says that around 150 million children worldwide are engaged in child labor.

Children Need Childhood!

Is there a solution?

Yes, and the change starts with YOU!

Some example campaigns, YOU can make.

Small and simple things can make a really big difference. Some solutions to ending child labor could be making posters or campaigns about child labor/slavery in the world. You can also visit websites that fight against child labor. Just reading about child labor on these websites can help. If students, like you, help, then things WILL change.

In North Korea, children of all ages are doing involuntary work: without payment. Children need a chance to be children! They are stripped of their childhood the day they start working. Also, these children work in horrible work conditions, on mills, farms, and factories.

The North Korean government continues to require forced, uncompensated labor from workers, including schoolchildren and university students.

As students, what can you do?

------------------------>

This is a campaign

that fights against

child labor in the

world. This is made

by students.

  • Ethos: cited sources
  • Ethos: expert opinion/quote
  • Pathos: second person "you" creates a very specific audience
  • Pathos: facts/pictures (children in North Korea doing work)
  • Logos: data/graphs/statistics (child labor in North Korea)
  • Logos: if/then logic

You can take to make a difference in schools, at home, and in many other communities, by making campaigns & raising awareness.
