One Teach, One Observe

One teacher instructs while the other collects useful data

Parallel Teaching

Teachers share planning and instruction equally. The class is split into 2 heterogeneous groups and each teacher teaches the same content at the same time.

Team Teaching

Teachers share equal responsibility for planning and instruction.

Collaborative Co-Teaching

There are 6 approaches to collaborative co-teaching:

Alternative Teaching

Teachers divide the work of planning and instruction. Most students are in a large group, but some are in small group for various parts of the lesson. This allows for highly individualized instruction.
