The Beatles had a major influence over mens' hair styles in the 60s. Meanwhile, women wore high boots, and mini dresses, iconic symbol of the rebellious teenager, were considered the height of fashion.

Fashion is amazing, and it can really help to catch the spirit of what our world was like. In this prezi I will be taking you on a journey so you can see what fashion was like 50 years ago, so fasten your seat belts, and get ready to ride!
In the 80s, girls wore pumps, t-shirts with words on and ra-ra skirts. They also wore tennis track suits- and lots and lots of neon.
The 50s was the age of rock and roll. Girls wore rounded, puffed sleeves and large circular skirts. High pony tails were popular, too.
In the 70s, a lot of people wore hippy-style clothing. This was a very nature friendly look, and consisted of long, flowing skirts, trailing, floaty batique shirts and strings of wooden beads.Big, floppy hats with ribbons were often seen accompanying this look.
