Hunting is illegal in Kenya. But some people still continue to kill elephants for their tusks and rhinoceroses for their horns. Kenya is known for the vast variety of its wildlife and is popular for its big game animals associated with the African savanna.

African religions are typically based on natural phenomena and reverence to ancestors.

Kenya has no single culture that identifies it. With such diverse regional peoples such as the Swahili along the coast, several pastoralist communities mainly in the North and the different communities in Central and Western regions, having a mutually acceptable cultural identification is difficult.
