C4D's are 4D images made from a program named Cinema 4D.

They are often these abstract works. They can be used to enhance the feel of your work and give it an even nicer look.

Enhancing a Stock Image

Principles and Basic Techniques in Manipulating Images

Stock images are often plain, so it's your job to make it more attractive to the eye.

Emphasis on Detail

Having emphasis on detail is a way to make the viewers focus on that particular part of the picture.

You can make that part the most vibrant, colorful, or sharpest area in the design.

Color Blending

Color Blending helps the images blend with one another and most importantly form a nice coherent work of art.

Tip: you should always look for colors that already blend.

Combining Multiple Images

Choose the right images to combine that also makes your message through those images clear.

Picking Stock Images

You should pick an image that is sharp and clean so that it is easy to manipulate.

Shadowing is used to make the picture as realistic as possible.

Realistic in a way that every item has a shadow if it needs one.

Texture Use

Textures add a nice kick to blend all your images together evenly.

Textures add to the depth of your art.

Image Rendering

Rendering an image is like cutting a pattern within the picture to be used or merged with another picture or a layout background.

Enhancing a Stock Image

If you add something that wasn't in the original scene, it depends on your purpose if it's okay or not. If your purpose is TO PORTRAY A SCENE AS TRUTHFUL, then it is NOT OKAY. But if your purpose is TO CREATE FICTION or "ART", then it is OKAY.

What is Principle?

Principle is a general scientific theorem or law that has numerous special applications across a wide field.

Proportion

To make a photo realistic you should remember that images are supposed to be far away have to be smaller than the ones closer to you.

Image Manipulation

As for changing the contents of an image; as long as the artist does not try to misrepresent what they are doing and methods are completely explained in the caption, it is within their judgement whether it is a success or not.
