People that are a part of minority groups show more empathy
- Going through more can allow for a better understanding of others
- Having more diversity can allow for your empathy to stretch beyond the empathy gap

Out of 22 respondents only 8 were able to accurately describe an empathetic action.
95% were Caucasian
86% were Heterosexual
95% would self-describe themselves as empathetic
43% would self-describe their upbringing as diverse
38% agreed that empathy is learned
Data
People who believed empathy was learned, or that helping other is rewarding was more likely to show empathy.
Race, sex, family tyope had no effect on the empathy shown by an individual. The more empathetic a person was was more closely realted to the openess of empathy.
