Cell Analogy of a Penguin

Nucleus

The nucleus of a penguin is his brain because it tells the body what to do.

Golgi Bodies

Ribosomes

The Golgi bodies in a penguin would be it's flippers because when they swim, there flippers carry them through the water.

The ribosomes of a penguin would be the feathers molting because the feathers molting is when the feathers shed and ribosomes come a fix the affected area.

Cell Membrane

Lysosomes

The cell membrane of the penguin is his feathers because it protects it the skin from being wet.

The lysosomes would be the stomach because they break down and recycle the products.

Nuclear Membrane

The nuclear membrane would be the blubber because the blubber only lets heat in and the Nuclear Membrane only lets certain materials to go in and out.

Cytoplasm

The cytoplasm in a penguin would be the blood because it surrounds the body like cytoplasm.

Vacuole

The vacuole is the rectum because it stores waste products and the vacuole stores water.

Mitochondria

The mitochondria would be the heart because the mitochondria keeps the cell running and the heart does that for humans and animals.
