Early Albert Einstein

Contributing My Disagreeing

Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, Germany in 1879. He was the son of Hermann Einstein and Pauline Einstein.

Albert Einstein disagreed with the Quantum Theory, which is another set of words for the Atomic Theory. This caused Niels Bohr to create more models and explanations for the Quantum Theory, therefore simplifying it down and providing more evidence for it.

Theory of Relativity

The Atomic Theory

You may be asking yourself, "What is the Atomic Theory?" The Atomic theory is a scientific theory that states that all mater is composed of tiny particles, called atoms.

Albert Einstein is perhaps most famous for his Theory of Relativity. This is a complicated theory revolving around space and time. Basically, it states that space and time are interwoven together into space-time. This laid the basis to Atomic Energy.

This stands for energy equals mass times the velocity of light squared. This became the foundation stone for atomic energy. This is his most famous accomplishment.

Albert Einstein was a major contributor to the Atomic Theory. You will learn how he contributed to the Atomic Theory in this presentation.

The Photoelectric Effect

The Brownian Motion is the random moving of particles in a gas or liquid because of their collisions with other atoms or molecules.

Thanks for watching!

This is when electrons are emitted from the surface of a metal when light shines on the metal. You can actually start a small current by shining a light on metal. This will happen because when the electron is hit with a light wave, it will have enough energy to be knocked out of it's atom.

Proving It

Albert Einstein played a very important role in the development of the Quantum Theory. Instead of just stating that atoms may exist, he proved it. Einstein used his theories in quantum physics to explain the photoelectric effect and the Brownian motion. This led to proof that atoms did exist.
