Conclusions:
Astigmatism is a major cause of amblyopia in pediatric patients with limbal dermoid.
The degree of astigmatism can be predicted by the size of the limbal dermoid.
Children with limbal dermoid need appropriate refractive correction and occlusion in addition to surgical excision.
