The unification church was created by a man named Sun Myung Moon in 1954. He created this cult because he thought of himself to be God. He convinced many people across the world that he was the second coming of Christ, which has led him to live in a royal fashion.
What were the cults beliefs?
This cult believed in separating the children from their families and loved ones , then making them feel apart of a new and more loving family. This cult also believed that there is an actual kingdom of heaven that exists on Earth, unlike what Christians believe. The Unification church also thinks that the Christian churches are the devils instruments.
