  • The majority of jobs in the Salinas Valley had something to do with farming, as there were very good conditions for it
  • Farmers grew a wide range of crops including beets, beans, and lettuce(green gold)
  • People were also hired to transport the crops to the world, as the Salinas Valley was on of the largest producers of lettuce in the USA
