Rome climate very broadly is of the 'Mediterranean' variety. The summer months are warm to mild, and the winters are cold.
The government of Ancient Rome consisted of a three branched republic. These branches were: the magistrates, senate, and the assemblies and tribunes. The tri-government was known as a tripartite. Leaders knew they had to establish a government that kept citizens happy, otherwise unhappy citizens would overthrow the entire government.
Legend has it, that as babies, Romulus and Remus were nursed by a female wolf until a shepherd found them and began to raise them.
When Romulus and Remus became adults, they decided to be founders of a city where the wolf had found them. The brothers fought over where the site should be and Remus was killed by his brother. This left Romulus the sole founder of the new city and he gave his name to it – Rome.
The Romans used the arch a lot. The arch was regarded very highly because it was seen as somewhat divine since it had a curved top that never fell in and was very sturdy.
The Romans needed a way to get water in and out of the city, so they built many aqueducts close together to reach citizens houses
The Colosseum, also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre is a famous work of architecture found in the center of Rome, Italy.
