Ghost Hawk Review
Ghost Hawk is a book about a indian in the Pokanoket tribe. A boy Little Hawk goes away on his quest of manly hood in the middle of the winter for three months or three moons. he faces many challenges including physical and mental injuries. Overall, this book is very confusing. This book has some deaths, some that would make you tear up. In this book there are many parts when you need to stop and reflect. There a few great quotes sprinkled in this book. It makes you think about many things and how lucky you are to have everything.

Skylar: Ghost Hawk is good for some people. But i think it is BAD! i did not enjoy it very much. not well writen. but i enjoyed my group! My least favorite book ever.
Charlotte: I think this book is a very well written book, but maybe its not the best for everyone. because I'm the only person who thought it was good.
Ansley: This book is good for certain people, but its not my type. I didn't like how this was written and how the story goes. I did not get hooked it and didn't really enjoy this too much.
Ashley: I don't like this book personally but maybe it works for some people. Its not written good or has detail this is terrible for people like me. Its my least favorite book ever! I wouldn't recommend this book. And it does not get you hooked to the book. I didn't like it.
Carmen: I would not under any circumstances reccomend
this book to anyone. It's poorly written and it has almost no detail. This book is absouloutly horrible, and in one sentence suddely two centries have passed.

This book takes place in the earlier times, preferably the 1800's. Where there were more Indians and they didn't live or get along with the "white men" as they call it. It was a though time and any disease or food shortage could change the population severely.
Ghost Hawk is arranged into 4 parts. About twelve chapters in the 1st and 2nd chapters and the last two are shorter. Then there is a timeline at the end. It is important if you want to remember what has happend, but its not needed.
Characters
There are 2 main characters in the whole book, Little Hawk. Also there is a surprise character. He is in the 1st 2nd and 3rd part. Little Hawk has a big family. little brother, quickbird (sister), mom, dad ,and his grandmother.
John- John is a very brave person who stands up for what is right no matter what others think. (its on of those characters that would give the story away.)
Leaping Turtle- Leaping Turtle is Little Hawks best friend, he is a very friendly person.
Little Hawk- Leaping Turtles best friend, a brave boy who does not care what happens he just wants to help.
Quick Bird- Little Hawk's sister that is passionate about was she thinks. ( another character that with too much detail would give the story away.)
Sun Catcher- is a kind old woman that is Little Hawks grandmother. she plays a BIG part in the story. she helps Little Hawk heal and replenish his health in about the second half of the first part. she is a strong old woman and the most wisest person Little Hawk knows.
