PREVENTION

TREATMENT

how can I prevent this disease to occur inside me (omg i dont wanna die)!!:(

well liket was mentioned before one way to prevent this to happen to you is a diet high in fiber. dietary fiber that is.

why fiber you say?

well the colon must exert more pressure than usual to move small, hard stool if there's not enough fiber to help make the feces more bulky. this will allow it to pass through your colon with out many complications.

ANATOMY

A doctor may prescribe antibiotics and recommend following a liquid diet. Most people get better with this treatment. Some people may need surgery. You will be given IV fluids or placed on a clear liquid diet.

•eating a well-balanced diet that's high in fiber and fruit to keep stools bulkier, making it easier for the colon to move them along

•avoiding constipation, for example by drinking plenty of fluids.

PROGNOSIS

  • Once pouches develop in the colon, they are permanent and can't be cured.
  • With antibiotics and for some surgery may be needed to remove infection and reduce the inflammation.

  • brief video bout diverticulitis.

Why does the colon develop pouches you say ?

  • Well studies have been done and there is no accurate answers for why diverticula develops.
  • But it has been said that the cause could be lack of fiber :0 tan tan tan

not enough dietary fiber in the body can be the cause of the Diverticula.

  • Inside the pouches bacteria can be stored and reproduce. ( ohhh no :0) which causes inflammation which then its called Diverticulitis.

PHYSIOLOGY
