"We can't all be stars."

- High School Musical

At some point we'll all be noticed, but not all the time. Because we can't always be the main attraction everywhere, maybe one day you'll be noticed a lot, but then the next day the spotlight will shine on somebody else.

As the competion rises so does the tension between the characters. There is a lot of conflicts and drama between East High. The characters are determined to win it. They're taking every little step seriously. They act bitter and mean towards each other. Nothing will stop them from enduring. And by nothing I mean nothing.

East High puts on the battle of the bands. This story takes place mostly at the school's acting room. And basically all around the school.

The book I read taught to never give up wether it's school, friendship, or even love related. This book also taught me not to let anybody bring me down, who cares what others think, just move on. And enjoy your life the way you want to live it, not the way people tell you to live your life.

Short Summary

Characters

East High is putting on its first ever battle of the bands! Troy and his basketball friends are looking foward to living their rock-star fantasies. Sharpay formed her own girl group. But while Troy and Sharpay are preparing for the spotlight, Gabriella and Ryan are left in the shadows. Gabriella tries keeping herself busy by tutoring Ryan. There's only one thing going in on in her mind, she kept wondering why Troy wouldn't want to join forces with her again. Did he not think the two of them were a perfect team in the last musical? In the end, Gabriella might have to take teh stage without Troy by her side.

Gabriella: The sweet, beautiful, popular, and innocent girl.

Troy: The popular, smart, sweet, and "hotty" as all the girls desribe him.

Sharpay: The mean, "popular", pretty girl.

Ryan: Sharpay's sweet, popular, "cute" brother.
