Western Sahara, formerly Spanish Sahara, was annexed by Morocco in 1975.A war broke out during this time and one side claimed to represent the indeginous people of that region, and were supported by neighboring country, Algeria. In 1991 a cease-fire and the conditions in it lead to many problems. Since 1991 the terms of a referendum have been subject to years of dispute between the parties, although the cease-fire continues to hold despite remaining tensions. Morocco controls the majority of the territory, and the Polisario forces contain a small amount and refuse to become a part of Morocco.

contained geographically, It is contained to the country of Morocco, which is located on the Northwest coastline of Africa. And the Infitada force being in a small part of Morocco.
The only people truely affected by this conflict our the people living in Morocco. They are living in civil unrest in which two sides within the country can not come to an agreement.

The easist short term solution to this problem would for the country to go back to the cease-fire agreement and posibly make a few changes and help settle soem of the unrest for a short period of time.
