Favorite Part

My favorite part would have to be in the beginning why we meet the crew and get to see how they act. You are instantly brought into an amazing violent but exciting conflict. Which we learn later in the book is a norm to the crew. As you first meet them they all seem like they are super bad. But as you learn later they are all a little different. I just love how psychotic their actions are since, that even being thought by anyone today is insane.

A Clockwork Orange Should not be censored.

The aim of this presentation is to show the book A Clockwork Orange should not be censored. As this book shows many dark and deep subjects there is "merit" to the use of his imagery. When the author fully describes the gang wars and raiding of a persons house it was meant to show how the character Alex was. By this is i mean that if the author didn't portray this man as an insane man, then taking away his "will" would mean nothing since the reader has not made an relationship with the character. "Life is a very wonderful thing, said Dr.Banom in a very holy goloss." He is trying to make our loved but troubled Alex into a zombie in a sense, "What is happening to you now is what should happen to any healthy human." The reason this was put in was to show that even though are loved Alex is a horrible person that no one deserves to be made into a non-thinking zombie. Alex is being made life by the government, "From now on Alex will feel intense nausea, not only when he contemplates violence". The government was probably trying to stop this, "The attack mirrored a disturbing scene from cult movie A Clockwork Orange, which was banned for 27 years."even though it is technically their human right to have the will to do it.
