Clinics and psychiatric hospitals for criminal defendants being evaluated and treated on issues of competency and responsibility, but goes far beyond this.
There are many jobs available, but here are a few of the most common:
- Clinician : In need of a masters degree. They do a lot of clinical counseling with groups or individuals
- Case worker : In need of a at least a bachelors, but can do more with a masters. They work on certain cases, listening to both sides. Can be done with individual or in group setting.
- Licensed Forensic social worker : In need of a masters. These people have good counseling skills, and work head on with clients.
- Forensic case coordinator : In need of a bachelors. They help with the transitions of life from a criminal place (money, shelter,etc).
