Some examples of how this myth is presented in today's society, is the app "Pandora." The myth is about Pandora learning about new things and the app encourages you to listen to new music. Also the Pandora Bracelet goes with the same story line. Lastly, an example is the name Hope. Pandora discovers Hope and that is a name that means a desire for a certain thing to happen.
This myth talks about Greek culture by explaining how Pandora is made by the God Hephaestus. Also, how Pandora is the girl who found out about Hope with her curiosity. This is an example of an origin myth which is something to describe an origin of a feature of the world. In this case, Pandora finds hope, dispare, ect. Those came from the box.
I found that the main god is Zeus. In this myth, his role is to declare that Hephaestus must make a girl for Epimethius. Zeus did this because he knew that Epimethius was lonely.
With Pandora's curiosity, she opens the box. When she opened it, a swarm of horrible things come flying out like dispare and distrust. When Pandora opens it a second time, she finds Hope.
In the myth "Pandora's Box," Zeus has the God Hephaestus, make a women out of the world. After he creates the women, Hephaestus names it Pandora. Pandora is gifted with a box that says to never open it.
