- Be able to explain what factors fall in to the main types of barriers
- Be able to explain a real-life example of a barrier that could be faced by a person

Form 2 separate characters, one that will get in and one that will not
After you finish, you will present your case study to the other groups and they will have to decide who will get into Canada and who will not

Criminal Charges and political affiliations may end up preventing people from entering or leaving certain countries

On your chart paper, Brainstorm some national barriers that people may face, when either immigrating or emigrating
Emotional
- May be leaving loved ones that potentially may never see again
- Often they are escaping dangerous situations
- Risking your life to leave a familiar country, no idea what life may be like
Financial
- Traveling is very expensive
- A lot of procedures that people have to go through before they can leave (Examples?)
