Response - Distribution

Considering that this magazine has been created for high schoolers, it will likely be developed in a media or sports club and distributed through teachers, students in the specific club, and stands around school campus. Monthly issues will be developed, focusing on the main sports news around the school and writing a feature story/piece on one athlete or team. The magazine may focus on bigger topics and be exposed to more groups of people if sports teams go to state and national events. The magazine can also replace newspapers that some schools use, reducing possible competition.

Response - Audience

In the development stage of this magazine, high school students ranging from 16 to 18 years of age were the main group that participated in market research surveys. Many aspects of the magazine, such as the title, color scheme, number of athletes on the cover, and the subject matter were decided upon with their responses in mind. Since my target audience is high school students and the theme of it was sports, I made my magazine a high school sports magazine, with my issue focusing on one athlete. The magazine would provide a concise update on the performance of all athletic teams at high schools, making it popular for sports fans.
