Clothing in Verona during the Renaissance was drastically different than clothing in Virginia today. In Verona, the casual dress was far more modest

with women wearing long dresses and sleeves

and men wearing simple gowns. Fashion in

modern day Virginia consists of a more

laid back style of dress with shorts and

t- shirts.

Comparison of Location

Verona is home to the 3rd largest Amphitheater in the world which was built in A.D. 30 and could accommodate 30,000+ people. After the structure was almost destroyed in A.D. 1117 due to an earthquake, the Italians reused its stone for other projects.
