Big Bang v. Steady State

The evidence of cosmic microwave radiation was one difference between these two that made The Big Bang popular.The Big Bang Theory states that no new matter can be created. The total amount of matter and energy in the universe always stays the same.

What is the Steady State Theory?

The theory states that the Universe is essentially the same and doesn't change. But this doesn't apply to planets , stars, and etc. People thought as the Universe grew, more matter was created. It also stated the Universe had no begging or end.

What is The Big Bang Theory?

A greatly accepted theory that the Universe began as a hot, dense region that started expanding and cooling. It is believed the Universe began 12 to 14 million years ago.
