Flag

The flag looks in fact just like the land itself. It shows that it is an island, and has an endless body of water surrounding it.

Location, Size, and Geography:

This beautiful island is located in the Pacific Ocean and the Philippine Sea. They are in fact in US territory, and use the exact same currency as us! Guam also lies 5,800 away from San Francisco!

-English and Chamorro. It's main language is English because Guam is US territory!

It is a peninsula, which means that water is on the left and right sides of it, with it connected to actual land. April 4th, was the formal adoption date of the official seal of the territory of Guam, after Governor Willis W. Bradley Jr changed the flag from one eagle to none.

Since Guam is America's territory, we share the same currency. Their economy is growing, with the flow of tourists coming and going constantly. "Japan now makes up 57 percent of Guam's total arrival mix."

Climate

Guam is warm all year long. It's average temperature is 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Dry season: December-April

wet season: April-December

It's education system is equal to the U.S! It is required that children between the age of 5 and 16 must be educated. There's 38 public schools which consist of 27 elementary schools, 7 middle schools, and 4 high schools. Just like us, there are private schools available also.
