Bob Clampett

Bob made animation more wackier and old fashion rubber house styled in the 1930's. He was also one of the most popular directors for the popular cartoon Looney Tunes. Being inspired by companies like Disney, he eventually started to work at Warner Bros.

Bob was born May 8, 1913 and died May 5, 1984.

That was just before his birthday. Before his death, Bob was awarded with a promotion. Then, is when he directed 84 cartoons.

From a young age, Bob showed interest in the animation field, being as he grew up not too far from Hollywood, California. He grew up and pursued this career by attending Otis College of Art and Design.

Remember Beany and Cecil?

Clampett's use of puppetry and unrealistic elasticity in his films paved the way for other animators and directors of and after his time. Some of his characters even dressed up as animals.
