Side Dishes

  • Hobbed thought that people have no morals and did not respect each other's life, liberty, and property.
  • A social contract is contract that a group of people sign and choose a leader.

  • The people sign it saying that they will listen and follow the leader as long as he/she is fair.

  • The leader signs it saying that he will be fair.
  • Raw Materials like cotton, tobacco, and corn was shipped from the colonies to England.
  • England produced cigarettes, clothes , and othe manufactored goods and shipped them to Africa.
  • African Tribes captured slaves from other tribes to be shipped to the colonies in return for the manufactored goods England gave them.

  • Locke cerebrated that people would create a social contract where people followed the government's laws as long as their natural rights were protected.
  • This type of government is ruled by one political party that has all the power.
  • Locke believed that people did respect each other's life, liberty, and property.
  • Ex. Jaquez buys the USA and pronounces himself as monarch so he is now the king.
  • This was good for England since they didn't have to pay, so they made a 100% profit.
  • Ruled by the president which the people elected.
