Bimdas is very helpful in maths. When you come to a question, for an example:

4+(7-3)x9= you can use bimdas. It helps you to work out sums like the one above easier and faster without getting confused.

Using Bimdas is one of the simplest things in maths. It shows you how to work out harder sums just by following what the word bimdas stands for. You do all the brackets first, than indicies, multiplacation, division etc.

sum- 3+(7-2)x8=

first off is brackets- (7-2)= 5, new sum 3+5x8.

there are no idicies so we do multiplication,

multiplication- 5x8= 40, new sum- 3+40.

there are no division so we do addition, addition- 3+40= 43, so the answer is 43!

B- brackets

I- indicies

M- multiplication

D- division

A- addition

S- subtraction

You would figure sums out with this order.
