Why you should choose my lunch?

Green tea. It has antioxidants and nutrients that have powerful effects on the body. This includes improved brain function, fat loss and a lower risk of cancer. Or water, that's good for you too.

Ingredients

Well my lunch is quite simple to make, it tastes good (I've tried it), and obviously it's healthy. For people who are vegetarian it's also a great lunch for them too.

This salad includes:

  • Coarse salt
  • Gemelli pasta
  • 1 can of cannellini beans
  • Fresh goat cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Dijon mustard
  • Arugula
  • Red onion

Micronutrients are the vitamins and minerals in our food. They help regulate body functions such as, vision, healing and muscle movement.

Lunch idea:

- Pasta salad, with green tea

Macronutrients

Macronutrients include carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. They provide the body with energy for growth and activity. (Fuel for the body)

Nutrients

Arugula (a vegetable) is a great source of calcium, vitamin A, potassium. All which maintain normal body growth and help builds muscle. Vitamin A helps the immune system function, supports cell growth and plays a critical role in maintenance of organs. (micronutrients)

Gemelli pasta (grain product) has fiber, carbs, proteins and iron. (macronutrients)

Cannellini beans (legumes) they are a high source of fiber, protein, iron, zinc and B vitamins. (micronutrients

Goat cheese (dairy product) contains vitamin A, protein, Omega-6 fatty acids, calcium, potassium etc. (micronutrients)

Olive oil contains omega-3 fatty acids, omega-6 fatty acids, vitamin E and vitamin K (micronutrients)
