During Britain's colonization. Britain Took other countries resources and used them for their own benefits. For example The stamp act was a law placed for the colonist. It put a tariff on items that came from the colony itself. Which made Britains GDP go up and their revenue. Another act was the Tea act. This act was made to increase East indian tea, by selling a lot for a cheap price, unfortunately this caused the Boston Tea party.
