Some of the languages spoken by Eritrean canadian are Tigre, Tigriniya, Arabic, and of course English.

Some of the food eaten is enjera, hamasha, and kicha. The food usually started on the base of some kind of bread. Tea would be drunk often. And there is ceremonial coffee.

Most Eritrean canadians live in Ontario. More live in Toronto than any other city. (Like Mississauga, Brampton and Scarborough) There are also a lot in other provinces like Edmonton and Calgary.

Simon Bairu is an Eritrean Canadian runner. He is 30 years old and lives in Regina. He is a two-time NCAA cross country champion and was Canada's 10,000-meter record holder in 2010.

Employment/ Jobs

  • In the past most people were taxi drivers and some had different professions like engineers and doctors.
  • Some Eritrean Canadians create their own small businesses for example, my aunt owns a restaurant, and my uncle owns a furniture store.
