The 7 Elements of Weather

Wind Speed

Relative Humidity

Relative Humidity: To find relative humidity you use a sling psychrometer. The amount of water vapor in the air, expressed as a percentage of the maximum amount that the air could hold at the given temperature.

Sentence: The temperature today is very cool and the relative humidity is between 50%- 70%.

Wind Speed: To find wind speed you use a anemometer. Its caused by air moving from high pressure to low pressure, usually due to charges in temperature.

Sentence: Wind speed happens every day by changing directions.

Dew Point

Temperature

Precipitation

Dew Point: To find dew point you use a hygrometer. The temperature to which air must be cooled, at a given pressure and water- vapor content, for it to reach saturation; the temperature at which dew begins to form.

Sentence: I see dew point when my cup starts to sweat with water on the outside.

Precipitation: To find precipitation you use a rain gauge. The act of precipitating; sate of being precipitated.

Sentence: Some time this week we had a bad precipitation.

Temperature: To find temperature you use a thermometer. Its a measure of warmth or coldness of an object or substance with reference to some standard value.

Sentence: The temperature outside is very cold and windy.

Clouds

Clouds: To Measure clouds you use a chart. Its a visible collection of particles of water or ice suspended in the air, usually at an elevation above the earths surface.
