Looking ahead!
ausEE held its most successful National EOS awareness week which was held from 11-17 August 2013!!!
We Raised over $14,000 - most from The Top 8 Challenge
ausEE continued to distribute resources to hospitals and other medical professionals across Australia – EGID medical brochures, ‘Meet Arabella’, ‘Being Henry’, Patient Information Folders and A4 support group posters all whilst receiving positive community feedback
We are delighted to report on all of ausEE’s achievements over the past year! This was our biggest year so far and we are pleased to share with you some of the highlights:
ausEE knitted dolls are now in most major children’s hospitals in Australia which are given to children just diagnosed or undergoing repeat endoscopies for an EGID.
We now have 5
YouTube videos on our channel
ausEE has also.......
Held many fundraisers ourselves and with the help of our members
Hosted and supported the establishment of support group meetings in most states of Australia
Provided support network forums through our Facebook groups which now has 332 members in our main support group and 68 in our adult support group
Exhibited at four medical conferences – RISA 2013 (Brisbane), Coolum Gastro Update 2013 (Coolum Beach), Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy 2013 Scientific Meeting (Perth) and Australian Gastroenterology Week 2013 (Melbourne).

Apply for Grants and coordinate first Australian Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disorders Conference to be held in Brisbane, QLD

About us
About Us
Founded in 2009, ausEE Inc. is a registered Australian not-for-profit organisation, endorsed to access tax concessions as a health promotion charity. We are an Incorporated Association (IA38281) and a Registered Charity in both Queensland (CH1899) and New South Wales (CFN/21530).

Sarah Gray
is the Founder and current President of ausEE Inc. She also works part time in local government in finance and procurement. Her goal is to make sure that anyone who suffers from an EGID can turn to ausEE for support and to help raise critical awareness of the condition in all of Australia. She has two daughters, one of which (Bella) suffers from EoE and was the catalyst for forming the organisation in November 2009. Mercedez Hinchcliff
joined the ausEE Inc. team in November 2009 and currently serves as Vice President. She has a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and has worked in the corporate banking sector for many years. She is also currently working on a Doctorate from the University of Wollongong. She uses her experience to help with the fundraising and marketing for ausEE. Her son Henry suffers from EoE which is what led her to her involvement with ausEE and drives her dedication to the organisation. Our Mission
Our mission is to improve the lives of those affected by eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders by providing support and information and to campaign and raise funds for further research in Australia.
Our Vision
To reach all those affected by eosinophilic disorders in Australia.
To become the catalyst for further research in the medical field; and ultimately find a cure.
To become the most prominent eosinophilic support organisation in Australia.
Our Objectives:
To provide support and information to individuals and families affected by eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders.
To improve the quality of life for people with eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders.
To create greater public awareness and understanding of eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders, their impact and appropriate management options.
To help people recognize the symptoms of eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders.
To be a credible source of information to physicians and patients.
To campaign and raise funds to enable further research to be conducted in Australia for eosinophilic
gastrointestinal disorders.
Ultimately our main goal is to help find a Cure!!!!

We advise that we have completed the Audit of the books of account of ausEE Inc. for the year ended 30 June 2013. However, before an opinion can be given the following qualification must be noted:-

(1) It is not possible to verify that all monies received have been receipted intact,
However, I am satisfied that all monies receipted have been banked intact.

Subject to this qualification, in our opinion:-

(a) The accompanying Financial Statements, which have been prepared from the
books and records supplied by the Association, present a true and fair view of the operations of ausEE Inc.as disclosed in the books of account for the year ended 30 June 2013.
(b) The Accounting and other records have been properly maintained.
(c) There is no other matter to be advised to the Committee and members at the
Annual General Meeting.
