Reason for the celebration
They play or watch football. They eat turkey for dinner and some people eat pumpkin pie for desert. In the parades they have football shaped balloons and turkey shaped balloons. They eat the turkey with grapes and other fruits.
They do it to render Thanksgiving to the almighty god for all his blessings.
Country of origin
Thanks giving originated in America. In fact, it is the only country that celebrates Thanksgiving.

Customs of the celebration
They eat at about 7-8pm normally but they eat a Thanksgiving meal[dinner] at about 3pm.
The family gets together and has a giant meal. It has turkey, mash potato, stuffing, and gravy. This ends with a wishbone. Who ever wins gets to make a wish.
