Story

To widen the understanding of the animal kingdom by learning basic and reflection based information.

Objective: Students will be able to recognize and reflect upon the basic animals' rights

* 23 primary school students

* 10 years old (4th grade)

* Middle class school

* B1 level

* They have already worked with CLIL during their school life.

*1st lesson plan: THE ANIMAL’S WORLD

*2nd lesson plan: WHERE THEY LIVE AND WHAT THEY EAT?

*3rd lesson plan: ANIMALS HAVE THEIR RIGHTS

*4rd lesson plan: WHAT WE LEARNED ABOUT OUR FRIENDS!

*To learn the basic information of animals in relation to physical characteristics, types of food they eat, habitats and rights.

* To create a wallchart

*To interact and share ideas

Lesson plan basic structre:

* Warm-up activity

Teacher asks questions like:

Humans have rights?Which rights do we have? Do you know that animals have rights?

*Activity :

a. Students will listen to a story.

b. They will receive the printed version of the story for reading it and discussing it with peers.

c.Students will write an end to the story.

*Activity 2:

Students will continue working on their wallchart including the animals¿ rights section
