volcanic eruption

Tectonic activity has made and is making our world today. Mountains rise and fall, oceans opens and close and life flourishes because of tectonic activity.

Sea-Floor Spreading

Sea-floor spreading has changed the earth, molding lakes, rivers, and shaping mountains. The mid-ocean ridge axis when erupted cools and turns into hard rock, sea-floor spreading begins gradually moving away from the ridged which explains continental drift.
