By Tony Bridges, Ryan Felberbaum,

and Josh Greenfield

Amendment 28

Background Information

Section 1.

We hereby propose the 28th Amendment. Citizens of the United States of America shall be able to buy, sell, and use drones, and other unmanned aerial vehicles.

Section 2.

Citizens are not permitted to have any firearms attached to his or her drone. Drones may not be used to harm any person, and may not be allowed to carry illegal substances, such as illegal weapons or drugs. Drones are not allowed to be more than 300 feet high

Section 3.

Police forces will be allowed use drones in non-lethal ways.

Ever since 2010, drones have been getting rapid popularity in the United States. What is a drone?

A drone is an unmanned aerial vehicle, also known as a UAV, that is controlled by people. Drones can have many different uses, such as delivering items for delivery services, to holding cameras in the television/film industries.

Drones can also be used by the police, since drones can be used to find criminals, and devices that project non-lethal substances, such as tasers

and tear gas. Drones still do not have proper laws stating what they can be used for

The Purpose

Allowing civilians and police force access to drones will help all citizens of the United States. Farmers will be able to use drones to plant seeds, citizens can use them for recreational activities, police could use them to fight crime, and more. This amendment will protect lives, and make lives easier.
