Communication is constantly changing due to social cultural influences. How did society communicate throughout our history? What has developed over time? Where do we stand now?

  • Spanglish - a combination of English and Spanish
  • Ebonics - an African Language used by African Americans that may have become form of dialect of English
  • Slang - is a type of shorthand to save time from making lengthy descriptions making it possible to make references within a group maintaining group solidarity
