Bid: when a Frat offers one a chance to pledge
President: A member of the frat who takes the lead positioning role for that frat
Chapter house: The house where that frat is located
Hazing: The character building rituals one must endure to become a member of that frat
Non-hazing Fraternity: a frat that does not haze, usually because they are on probation
Probation: when a frat gets in trouble by the school and is then punished for it
Active: A current member of a frat
