At age 46, July 17, 1944, Sidis suffered an extreme stroke, which he never regained consciousness from. This was caused by a Intracerebral hemorrhage, a type of stroke caused by bleeding within brain tissue. Unfortunately, at about the same age, Sidis' father died of the same fate.
