Taiga Biome

Summer temps rarely rise above 15°C while Winter temps get as cold as -27°C. On special times temps here have been recorded to go as low as -30°C while the warmest the temps have reached in the summer is 17°C.yearly rainfall is minimal between the lowest rainfall witch is 15mm to the hightest rainfall witch is 100mm.Snow is most of the rainfall here there is only very little to almost no rain here.the average yearly rainfall is 35-40mm of rain a year.

Climate/Rainfall

Some animals in the Taiga are the black bear,

the wolverine,and the bobcat.

Some plants in the Taiga are the Balsam Fir,

the Jack Pine, and the Siberian Spruce.

The climate in the Taiga for the most part is

dominated by cold Arctic air.The temperature

range is -65 degrees Fahrenheit to 70 degrees Fahrenheit.For half the year the temperature is below freezing.There is 12-33inches of

precipitation(30-84cm).

Animals in the Taiga

Some of the omnivores in the Taiga are the Black bear,the Grizzly Bear, and the Lynx.

Some of the carnivores are the Bald eagle, Bobcat, Wolverine, Minks, Ermine, Gray wolf, Otter, and the Long sparred owl.

Some of the herbivores are the Snowshoe rabbit, Red squirrel, Voles, deer, and the Elk.

Tertiary Consumers -Lynx,and Wolf .Secondary Consumers - Rabbit,Bird, Red Squirrels, Voles,Deer , Elk,Weasel,Fox . Primary Consumers- Squirrel ,Voles, Elk,Deer, Insects,Birds.

Plants of the Taiga

Some plants of the Taiga are The black spruce, Siberian spruce, Eastern red ceder, White fir, Grass, White poplar, and the Eastern fir.
