Keith Ward is a former atheist who became convinced of God’s existence while lecturing in Philosophy. He became a theologian and an ordained Church of England priest. He began his writing life by challenging the liberal theologians of his day, later becoming bishop of Edinburgh primus (or primate) of the Scottish Episcopal Church.
