Feedback

Our demographic target audience will be able to relate to the characters.

  • We decided to focus on the teenage audience rather than the adults because we found out that generally more young adults go to the cinema than adults and that we had 2 young adults playing the role of a couple in a serious relationship.
  • The target audience was also asked ask how they thought each character should be shown throughout, the feedback we received enabled us to chose the right props and costumes to help represent that character in our film.
  • The feedback we received showed that the audience thought the cinematography could have been better so there were less static shots and to increase the main character screen time. Another point that was raised was the quality of acting as we are not professional actors people thought it was forced.
  • To conclude, i think that we addressed our audience successfully from the production feedback.

Bedroom scene

  • To film the bedroom scene we had a small bedroom and a single bed which made recording difficult so we had to use different camera techniques to make it look like a double-bed so the audience got the impression it was.

Target audience

  • We also had to move furniture and add decorations to make it look like a stereotypical couples room.
  • We also managed to use lighting effectively which was a success in production as we were able to set the light so we could see the character but dark enough to show it was night time.

I think that we did meet what our target audience said in the results we got during the pre-production and the feedback we got after finishing the film.

Most of the people we interviewed thought the film would be a 12 rating. We managed to get this from the feedback. Afterwards they said they thought our target audience was appropriate for the film.
