The Senses of Computer

• A video card connects to the motherboard of a computer system and generates output images to display. Similar to the method the eye connects to the brain and feeds visual cues from the outside world.
• Video cards are also referred to as graphics cards. Video cards include a processing unit, memory, a cooling mechanism and connections to a display device.

A sound card converts digital data to sound. This allows you to listen to music from your computer using speakers or headphones. This is the ear of the computer which similar to your ear converting sounds into acceptable information that can be read by the brain.
