The CARIBCAN agreement allows Caribbean buisinesses to expand their export capabilities in the Canadian market. It also includes seminars for Caribbean businesspeople to learn more about developing markets for their products in Canada.
CARIBCAN is a trade agreement between Canada and Carribean countries such as Jamaica, Cuba and Barbados. It's beneficial for both Canadians and Carribeans, creating jobs and providing Canada with Carribean goods. It is similar to NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) because it removes most tariffs off goods.
We hope you enjoyed our presentation.
If CARIBCAN didn't exist, then there would be less Caribbean products in Canada. There would also be less Caribbeans with jobs because many of them have jobs selling goods in the Canadian market. There would be a change in the lives of many Caribbeans and Canadians if CARIBCAN didn't exist.
