Meyer Vs. Nebraska

(The reject of foreign languages)

Nebraska created a law saying it was illegal for foreign languages to be taught to children in schools before eighth grade

Robert T. Meyer was convicted for teaching German to ten year olds in Zion parochial school

Meyer filed a countersuit against Nebraska to overturn his conviction

The Supreme Court overturned his conviction and decided the Nebraska law was at fault

They stated that the law violated the fourteenth amendment

I thought the supreme court made the right choice

All children should have the right to speak the language they want at an early age.

And now, a song that is too cute in several languages.

Supreme Court decided soon overturned his conviction amd decided that the Nebraska law was at fault

What do I think about this?

People should have the right to speak the language they want at an early age.

so there would be none of this!!
