If Pygmy Blue Tongue Lizards were to be extinct it wouldn't effect the ecosystem dramatically because they are a small animal and they are not eating and getting eaten as much as other animals. Also there are many other species that would eat the same food as the Pygmy Blue Tongue Lizard.
