When you think of the word “Trends,” what do you think of?
What do you consider a trend to be?

Insightful Feedback
Do you think trends are important to us, or in our life? Do you think trends affect society today?
Would you say you follow trends? If so, why do you think you follow them?
"A little. About 60% of the things I wear. However, for Nike Employees we were the shoes and clothing to hype up the business and further promote it. I think we follow them to fit in, to be updated with society. To stay 'modern.'"
"Yes, trends are important in our life. I think trends affect society because they give us new ideas. Nike is the #1 athletic store worldwide, and I think we are considered to be trendsetters. For example, we were the first company to make a shoe from one string. Now, others are trying to achieve the same thing."
question #4
Do you think companies follow trends to gain profit?
Response
"Yes, all companies follow trends to gain profit. Most people buy things because they’ve seen it before and want it because “everyone” has it. So companies want to have the material that people want or need."
question #5
In your opinion, why do you think trends start?
Response
"I think trends start because its a way for people with common interests to come together. Nike is somewhat considered a trendsetter, and we set trends for people; and if they have an interest on that trend they follow it."
question #6
What did we do?
Do you think trends differ in age groups? Why or why not?
Response
"Depends on what trend. For example with clothing, they would differ because a 15 year olds clothing would be different from a 30 year olds. However, some music genres could be the same in some age groups."
