'Ulu Maika is similar to bowling. The stones are often made by basalt or coral. The stones are rolled down a Kahoa, a course of flattened land 40-120 feet long. The point was to roll a stone between 2 stick pegs without hitting them. Also, sometimes, they would see who rolled it the farthest.
