Creation Vs. Evolution

Place of Worhsip

Creation: It teaches Christians that God is the creator of all things living such as animals, plants, and humans. It also teaches us that God created the earth.

Easter: On good friday after the crucifiction of jesus christ, Jesus was preserved in a tomb.He was wrapped in a shroud of cloth and spices. Three days after his death, Jesus was resurrected on Sunday. Which is celebrated by Christians as Easter.

Church, Chapel, Cathedral

Evolution: It teaches that all things have come into existence without the help of God. It depends on the science of things such as animals and fossils. It uses scientific questions to figure out the past and our existence.

Church: Anglican, Roman Catholic, Episcopalian, and protesant denominations worship here.

Rites of Passage

Chapel: Denominatians such as Catholicism and Anglicanism worship here as well. It is smaller and more private than a church.

Baptism, Marriage, Death

Baptism: The ceremony is an introduction to Christian society. The common factor is Holy water a symbol of spiritual purification and cleansing. For example: Some church's immerse baby's in water, while others pour water over a baby's head.

Death: Christians believe in an afterlife, and that belief in Jesus assures forgiveness of sins and assurance into heaven. Death is therefore not something to fear because it`s not the end. Christian funerals usually take place in churchs.

Marriage: In a Christian marriage, a man and woman devote themselves to one another for life. This is the sacrament of Holy Matrimony.

Sunday/ Sabbath

The Ten Commandments

Priest: In Christian religion, a Priest is a minister of the Catholic, Orthodox, or Anglican Church having the authority to perform rites and administer sacraments.

Many Christians allow the Ten Commandments to guide their lives. These are also some of the Christian key teachings.

Pastor: In Christian religion, a Pastor is a minister who is in charge of Christian Churchs and congregations.

Pope: The head of Roman Catholic Churches.

The day of rest in the Christian religion is Sunday. In the Ten Commandments it states that you should remember the sabbath day and keep it holy. The seventh day in the week is the day of rest because God created the earth in seven days. On the seventh day God rested and admired his work and what he had created. On Sunday, Christians attend church to worship and praise the Lord for all he has given us.

Christianity is a religion that follows the teachings of Jesus Christ as described in the Holy Bible. Christians believe that Jesus is the messiah and was sent to earth to die for our sins so we could receive salvation in heaven.
