Sir Adams George Archibald was the son of Samuel Archibald and Elizabeth Alice Archibald. He married Elizabeth A. Burnyeat. They had four kids called, Lilly Archibald, Johanna Archibald, George Adams Archibald and Mary Lavinia Archibald.
Sir Adams George Archibald played a big role in Confederation. He attended all three meetings, and signed the paper that made Canada an official country in Charlottetown P.E.I. He was also The Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba (Now the three territories and three prarrie provinces) in the years of 1870, 1871 and 1872. After that he became the Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia through the years of 1873-1883.
